The 3M™ high flow series system for ice applications valve in head design provides consistent high-quality water by reducing particulate, chlorine taste and odor, cyst, bacteria1 and scale. The sanitary quick change (SQC) design allows for easy cartridge change-outs. Our 3M™ high flow series system for ice applications, model ICE190-S provides consistent high-quality water by reducing particulate, chlorine taste and odor, cyst, bacteria1 and scale. Built-in scale inhibition can help to prevent the potentially harmful effects of scale build-up on equipment. Excess particulate can clog distribution tubes and solenoid valves, while excess chlorine residual can cause chlorine smell and corrosion in ice bins. Integrated membrane pre-activated carbon technology ("IMPACT") filtration media combines a membrane with a premium activated carbon block to help provide excellent throughput and cartridge life. Our sanitary quick change (SQC) encapsulated cartridge design allows for fast and easy cartridge change-outs without the need for a filter wrench. This system includes a ball valve and is designed for use in ice applications involving commercial cubers up to 1450 lb and commercial flakers up to 2400 lb.
