Description
The Sporlan® type Y1037 temperature responsive expansion valves (TREV) have a brass bar stock body, ODF connections and inlet strainer. Internal parts and elements are not removed. Each valve is tested to ensure positive leak-free performance. This does not subject to cooling on a refrigerating system. The TREV injects liquid refrigerant ahead of the compressor in the suction line. The Y1037 can be used in other refrigerant applications; however, the maximum operating pressure of 500 lbf/sq-in is not exceeded. Valve setting is the temperature at which the valve opens. Rated capacity occurs at 10 deg F above the bulb temperature at which the valve opens.
